Full job description Primary School Teacher Inquiry-Based Learning, Experiential Learning & Project Based Learning Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our progressive school. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating inquiry-based learning techniques with the curriculum, fostering a creative and engaging learning environment for students. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for developing lesson plans, implementing learning activities, and collaborating with colleagues to promote the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of our students. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans that align with the curriculum and our school's progressive pedagogy. 2. Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' curiosity and encourages them to take ownership of their learning. 3. Utilize various teaching strategies and materials to cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of students. 4. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration through hands-on, experiential learning activities. 5. Assess students' progress regularly through formal and informal assessments, providing constructive feedback and adapting instruction as needed. 6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units, share best practices, and ensure a consistent approach to inquiry-based learning across the school. 7. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. 8. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest pedagogical trends, research, and best practices in inquiry-based learning and the CBSE curriculum. 9. Contribute to the school community by participating in meetings, events, and extracurricular activities. 10. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students. Qualifications: 1. Exceptional English language fluency, both written and spoken, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students. 3. Strong understanding of child development, principles of progressive education and a commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning. 4. Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students. 5. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting. 6.
